The artistic process

In this triptych, Nicole King has chosen to deconstruct the photo of the boats in the center panel to denounce the omnipresence of motorboats in the Mediterranean sea (smaller and more fragile than the others, it must be protected urgently). Their engines pollute an ecosystem already under stress and the anchors destroy the posidonia meadows and corals. The endangered biodiversity is symbolized by the ray (flatfish) on the left panel that touches the motorboat on the central panel.
