Personal exhibition “The Sea is your mirror” of 70 paintings at the Jean Vilar Cultural Center, Marly-le-Roi

The Centre Culturel Jean Vilar welcomed Nicole King in May and June 2019 with an important selection of her work including more than 70 paintings under the title “The Sea is your mirror”.
As aquatic ecosystems are the themes of her paintings, seeing the pool of the cultural center, she decided to animate this space in collaboration with the 1ere L of the high school Jeanne d’Albret.
Nicole King gave Recup’art workshops to the students in order to create a contemporary art installation in the cultural center’s basin from recycled materials: the mangrove ecosystem. Nicole King held weekly animations in collaboration with the cultural center for school children, seniors, and the general public through guided tours and conferences.
