The artistic process

Most of the large fish have been decimated by overfishing over the last eighteen years: the tonnage fished in 1950 was 12 million tons, a few years ago it dropped to about 80 and remains stable despite the intensive efforts of increasingly sophisticated fishing techniques (drift nets of more than 20 km…). One third of fish stocks are overexploited, which threatens the resource in the short term*.
