The artistic process

The “sea horse” is an emblematic fish of the destruction of marine biodiversity; overfishing and destruction of their habitats threaten them: 20 million seahorses are fished each year to be sold dried to tourists and for traditional Chinese medicine. A long-awaited text for the protection of life in the high seas (outside the exclusive economic zones of each country) is under discussion at the United Nations and France is actively participating in this project, which is currently stumbling over the sharing of genetic data.
