The artistic process

Access to safe drinking water is still the main problem for one third of humanity. Furthermore,  40% of the world population does not have access to good sanitation. This should be our top priority.

In this painting,  which belongs to a series of six monotypes, a woman from Angola  is seen carrying water in plastic containers. It makes us think how fortunate we are to have access to tap water!
